One part of Habisty onboarding is a Brain Dump: voice or text about what you are trying to change—focus, sleep, energy, or another real-life goal.
You do not need a perfect brief. Concrete constraints and current habits are more useful than polished self-description.
What to dump
Say the operating reality:
- What you are trying to move in the next 30–90 days.
- What you already track (ring, caffeine, gym) and what you refuse to track.
- Constraints: kids, shift work, travel, a job that wrecks evenings.
- The last three times your energy lied to you (high sleep, still crashed; “good” week, still foggy).
Specific examples work better than a broad goal such as “I want to be my best self.”
What happens after you send it
Onboarding is a pipeline, not a chat:
- Context — NEXUS uses the Brain Dump alongside your onboarding choices and baseline information. It is not a diagnosis or personality assessment.
- Generation — the AI layer suggests a foundation blueprint and relevant fields to log. It should reflect the goals and constraints you shared rather than invent a generic habit list.
- Review — you can review the result and start with a manageable first phase. As more logs exist, the product can offer additional context and suggestions.
The Brain Dump is processed using the same model as the rest of NEXUS. Read AI Journaling Privacy: What Habisty Sends to NEXUS before adding sensitive information.
What NEXUS will not do
It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Treat outputs as ideas for personal organisation and review; verify anything health- or safety-critical with a qualified clinician.
It does not replace logging or your judgment. After onboarding, the loop is to record useful inputs, review patterns cautiously, and decide what to try next. See Habit Tracker vs Life OS for the structure.
Why this beats picking 12 habits from a list
Choosing from a generic habit list can be a quick start. A Brain Dump adds the context that a fixed list cannot know: your schedule, constraints, and the signals you already care about.
A Brain Dump plus a consistent logging taxonomy gives you a starting point that can be revisited as more information arrives. Do not treat the first suggestion as a definitive explanation of your life or health.
